Together, we’ll fast from a meal, a food, a habit, or an activity and turn our hearts to God as we plead for His will to be done in our personal lives, around the world, and in this ministry He’s entrusted to us.

Here’s what you can do to prepare:

• Register for the #FellowshipFast today to RSVP and get reminders for the upcoming event — including an all-day online event on Facebook and an evening live phone-in Prayer Servicewhere YOUR requests could be personally prayed over by IFCJ Chairman of the Board, Bishop Lanier. You’ll also receive an educational guide for those who would like to participate in the Fast independently or within their community.
• Click “going” on the #FellowshipFast Facebook event page to spiritually prepare before the event, as well as to hear our godly speakers LIVE all day on May 5th as we fast and pray together.

*Although we would love for you to join the #FellowshipFast, fasting can never be forced or made compulsory and should only be done under the care of a healthcare provider. Certain individuals — like pregnant or nursing mothers, minors, and those with health conditions — should instead participate through the fasting of a favorite activity instead of food and drink.

The psalmist tells us that when the faithful cried out to the Lord, as we will together during the #FellowshipFast, “He stilled the storm to a whisper… and he guided them to their desired haven” (Psalm 107:29-30).
