Last month, thousands of businesses shared their stories with Google, and in those responses we noticed some common themes: many of you have used digital tools to pivot your business models in light of COVID-19; digital tools have helped you reach customers and expand into new markets; and many of you have concerns about proposed laws that could negatively impact how your business uses these tools.

We recently published stories from businesses in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico – they are stories of businesses, like yours, that have used digital tools to adapt and thrive. You can check them out in our Economic Impact Report.

May 2–6 is National Small Business Week, a time to celebrate the tenacity of America’s entrepreneurs. As part of the festivities, we invite you to join a virtual workshop, “Boost Your Business Growth through Brand Building,” on May 5 at 9:00 a.m. PDT/12:00 p.m. EDT. Learn what makes a strong brand, why it’s important for your business, and how to create a style guide and brand kit to build better brand consistency and attract more customers.
