Today’s ratings release features three primary updates:

• New methodology for the Culture & Community beacon, providing you with insight into Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) practices at more than 10,000 nonprofits. The data used for the DEI ratings scores has been provided in partnership with Candid.
• New program types for the Impact & Results beacon, providing you with an assessment of direct program impact for organizations focused on homeless housing, early literacy, animal shelters, basic goods distribution for needy individuals, and financial/credit counseling.
• Hundreds of nonprofits receiving their first-ever Leadership & Adaptabilitybeacon, providing you with an assessment of the organization’s leadership capacity, strategic planning, and the ability to readily innovate.
