Arizona seniors, veterans, students, and families have all relied on expanded telehealth services to access affordable health care safely in their homes throughout the pandemic.

We successfully worked to include provisions of our CONNECT for Health Act in past COVID-19 response legislation, allowing Arizona seniors and other Medicare beneficiaries increased access to telehealth services – but these provisions will expire following the pandemic unless permanently expanded.

Permanently extending telehealth services expands access to affordable care for Arizonans and reduces federal spending as we recover from the pandemic and resulting economic downturn.

Last week, Senator Mark Kelly and I were excited to announce that we secured over $2 million in telehealth funding for communities across Arizona. We’re proud to help deliver this critical funding for Arizona communities, helping ensure Arizonans can receive health care services they need  – no matter where they live in our state.

It’s important that we work together to achieve lasting results that will make a real difference in the lives of everyday families. And, on behalf of Arizonans, I’ll keep working to do exactly that.
