Buried in the fine print of employee handbooks and ubiquitous online click-through “agreements”, forced arbitration clauses are an unjust tactic to force survivors to give up their rights to seek justice and public accountability. In cases of sexual assault and harassment, forced arbitration allows corporations to hide patterns of abuse, making it harder for victims to speak out.

The Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault & Sexual Harassment Act  seeks to end the practice of forcing the survivors of sexual harassment and assault into a secretive, rigged arbitration system, denying them their constitutional rights and preventing them from holding harassers and abusers accountable.
