The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help in identifying the remains of a man found in the desert near Gold Canyon. The man, believed to have been around 40 years old at the time of his death, was discovered by authorities in October, but because of the advanced stage of decomposition, police have not been able to identify him. An Eloy man was apprehended in a farm field after allegedly leading law enforcement on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle. He faces charges of unlawful flight from law enforcement, theft of means of transportation, criminal damage, and several others.
Oops: In yesterday’s newsletter, we reported that Coolidge Police were investigating a robbery that resulted in the shooting of one individual. This was an error on our part. The incident, which occurred Saturday evening in the Safeway parking lot on North Trekell Road in Casa Grande, is actually under investigation by Casa Grande Police.
