Medicare’s Diabetes Prevention Program

Have you heard about Medicare’s Diabetes Prevention Program? This program can help people prevent type 2 diabetes, and a provider may be available near you. Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) covers the program at no cost to you if you’re eligible.
Medicare’s Diabetes Prevention Program offers:
- A specially trained coach to help keep you motivated
- Training to make realistic, lasting behavior changes
- Tips on how to get more exercise and how to take control of managing your weight
