Good morning RJ,

Several high-profile projects currently in the negotiating phase could have a tremendous impact on Casa Grande’s future budgets should they go through. During a day-long study session held last week, city officials outlined how a few potential developments may require the city to make changes to everything from wastewater treatment to marketing.

A few more notes for today…

– A Sacaton woman faces attempted armed robbery charges after she allegedly pulled a screwdriver on a Coolidge man and demanded the keys to his vehicle.

– Were you at the Coolidge vs. San Tan Foothills football game on Friday? So were we! See our collection of photos from that game in this gallery

– A friendly reminder: the Casa Grande Veterans Day parade is scheduled for this Saturday at 10 a.m. Downtown CG will also host a number of Veterans Day activities, which you can learn about here, that afternoon.

– A Spanish village suspended its last day of the running of the bulls festival after a 55-year-old Spanish man died on Saturday — the first known death during a running-of-the-bulls since the festival returned to many towns across Spain following the easing of COVID restrictions. You can see footage from other festivals from around Spain here.
