Salute to Service 2021: Recognizing all who serve
Join ASU in honoring our heroes who serve in the military, public service and health care professions with the 2021 Salute to Service celebrations.
- Salute to Service concert: Enjoy performances from ASU alum, military dependent and rising star Samara Cyn and Rolling Stone magazine’s “Artist to Watch” Teddy Swims. Tickets will be available starting Friday, Oct. 29.
- Movies on the Field: See the award-winning Disney film “Raya and the Last Dragon” on the field at Sun Devil Stadium. This event is hosted by TriWest Healthcare Alliance. Tickets will be available starting Friday, Oct. 29.
- ASU vs. USC Salute to Service game: Enjoy the fun at Sparky’s Touchdown Tailgate before cheering on the Sun Devils as they take on the USC Trojans! Join us as we raise a fourth-field size American flag to the national anthem. We’ll also be recognizing individuals who serve throughout the game. Get your tickets now.
- Sun Devils Serve: The ASU Alumni Association and Veterans Alumni Chapter are thankful to all alumni who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, the Peace Corps, Teach for America, in local nonprofits, as first responders or in community volunteering. Legends Luncheon
Friday, Oct. 29
The ASU Alumni Association and the Sun Devil Club will celebrate the Silver Anniversary of the 1996–97 Sun Devil Football Pac-10 Champions at Legends Luncheon on Oct. 29. Key players including Jake “The Snake” Plummer, Derrick Rodgers, Juan Roque and Keith Pooleled the team to an 11-0 regular season and a trip to the Rose Bowl.
While the event is sold out, you can see these players in-person as they lead the Homecoming Parade down University Drive. After the Parade, stop by their booth on Old Main Lawn at the Block Party as the players will be signing autographs for fans.Learn more
Sparky’s Pep Rally

The day before the game, tune in online to Sparky’s Pep Rally!
