Good morning RJ,

A selection of proposed education materials currently under review by the Casa Grande Elementary School District resulted in pushback from community members, including County Supervisor Steve Miller, at the most recent Governing Board meeting.

In other education news, Arizona school districts could face $1.2 billion in cumulative budget cuts without action from the legislature on a voter-approved expenditure limit.

– Give a saguaro, get a plaque: The city of Eloy is seeking donations of saguaro cacti, ranging anywhere from 6 to 20 feet tall, for a landscaping project on Shedd Road between Giles Street and Estrella Road. Learn more about the project
