Federal Election Commission Reminder Email
10/12/2021
Dear Filer,
The Federal Election Commission (FEC) would like to remind you that the 2021 October Quarterly Report is due on October 15, 2021 for candidate committees. Newly registered campaign committees that have not raised or spent more than $5,000 by the ending coverage date of the October Quarterly Report do not need to file this report (we encourage these committees to file a statement with the FEC to clarify for the public record that the committee has not met the $5,000 reporting threshold). For more information regarding your filing schedule, visit : https://www.fec.gov/help-candidates-and-committees/dates-and-deadlines/.
Electronic filers have until 11:59 PM (ET) on Friday, October 15 to submit their October Quarterly Report on time. Staff in the Reports Analysis Division (RAD) and Electronic Filing Office will be available until 8:00 PM (ET) on Friday, October 15 to answer questions regarding the content and filing of reports. However, due to the high volume of calls and extended wait times close to the deadline, we encourage you to file early.
To reach the Reports Analysis Division (RAD), for help with reporting questions and issues, call 1-800-424-9530 (press 5) or 202-694-1130. For help with technical issues relating to FECFile or electronic filing, dial the same toll-free number and press 4 or call 202-694-1307. Please also visit: https://www.fec.gov/help-candidates-and-committees/ for helpful information, such as reporting examples.
