Honoring Our Heroes
Today marks the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people in New York City, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. As we solemnly remember those we lost that day, we also honor the sacrifice of the thousands of brave men and women in uniform who have valiantly defended our country since that tragic day.
Since 2012, Samaritan’s Purse has been ministering to wounded veterans and their spouses through Operation Heal Our Patriots. This summer marks our 10th season of the project, and God has brought healing to many veteran couples during their time in Alaska for a week of spiritual refreshment, physical renewal, and marriage enrichment. Be sure to take a look at our special photo blog to see how the Lord has used Operation Heal Our Patriots to bring hope and healing to those who have sacrificed for our safety and freedom. And please keep all of our military families in your prayers.See What God Is Doing
