MASTERS GOES TWO-FOR-TWO, DANA TAKES BRONZE Oksana Masters won her second gold in as many days by dominating her first major H5 road race, while Alicia Dana took home bronze in the H1-4 event that came down to the wire.
ABRAHAMS SNAGS SILVER, LONG ADDS TO CAREER HAULWith a silver in the 100-meter breaststroke S7, Jessica Long claimed her 27th medal – and fourth in Tokyo – while David Abrahams and Colleen Young also earned podium finishes.
MAYHUGH’S SILVER HIGHLIGHTS FOUR U.S. MEDALSNick Mayhugh sprinted to his second medal in Tokyo, taking silver behind a world-record time in the 400-meter T37 as U.S. athletes added four podium finishes in track and field.
SITTING VOLLEYBALL ADVANCES TO SEMISWith a 3-0 sweep over the Russian Paralympic Committee, Team USA advanced to face Brazil in the semifinals.
