TRUNNELL MAKES HISTORY WITH EQUESTRIAN GOLDRoxanne Trunnell aboard Dolton won the Grade I test dressage event, becoming the first American rider to win individual gold at an Olympic or Paralympic Games since 2000.
MAYHUGH EXPLODES FOR 100M GOLD, WORLD RECORD In his Paralympic debut, former Division I soccer player Nick Mayhugh set the world record to win the gold medal in the men’s 100-meter T37 after taking up the sport in 2019.
GRISWOLD, WEGGEMANN LEAD FOUR-MEDAL NIGHT IN POOLRobert Griswold set a world record in the men’s 100-meter backstroke S8 and Mallory Weggemann led a 1-2 finish in the women’s 200 IM SM7 as U.S. swimmers added four medals.
GILLETTE AND MARTIN EXTEND LEGACIES WITH SILVERSLex Gillette soared to his fifth straight silver medal in the men’s T11 long jump, while Raymond Martin earned his eighth medal, a silver, in a thrilling 400-meter T52 final.
