And that’s critical, friend. Today, Alzheimer’s is the nation’s largest under-recognized public health crisis, killing more people than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined.

Many people don’t realize that more than 11 million Americans provide unpaid care for people living with Alzheimer’s or other dementias. Last year, they provided 15.3 billion hours of care valued at nearly $257 billion.

Taking time off, even during the summer, is a challenge for many caregivers. Their brave, compassionate, tireless efforts inspire us to continue our work — during the summer and all through the year. But we need your help.
