Carolyn lost her mother, Betty Ann, to Alzheimer’s. Now, her aunt is living with the disease as well. Alzheimer’s has affected three generations of her family.

And when I talk to supporters like you, I hear so many more stories — of grandmothers and grandfathers, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, as well as next-door neighbors and friends.

One day, I want to write you and tell you there’s a cure for Alzheimer’s and that we and the people we love are no longer at risk. I believe it will happen, and I know we’ll celebrate. But it’s up to us to make progress happen. We can’t do it without you.
