World Photography Day is August 19, and to celebrate, we’re throwing a photo contest!
This year we’ve got FOUR categories you can submit to for consideration. Each one presents an opportunity to connect with other photographers, get visibility on your work, and share what you’re proud of. Oh, and win prizes, of course.
Submit your favorite shot of the natural world around you—landscape, aerial, underwater, it’s all good.
Show off your best selfie, fashion photo, portrait, wedding shot, street capture, and more.
From pets around your home to wild animals around the world, give us your best animal shot.
Architecture, still life, food, abstracts—your options are endless. Join in

HOW DO I SUBMIT?
Step 1: Join the World Photography Daygroup on Flickr.
Step 2: Choose the photo you’d like to enter and add the corresponding category tag: WPDNature, WPDPeople, WPDAnimals, or WPDObjects.
Step 3: Select “add photo”, choose your photo, then “add to group” and “ok” and you’re done! Join the World Photography Day group on Flickr
