Gameday like a Sun Devil
Gameday celebrations are coming! There are multiple ways for you to make the most of your Gameday experiences. Join in on any or all of it:
- Sparky’s Touchdown Tailgates:Whether the game is home or away, amp up for kickoff with live entertainment, food trucks, a beer garden, appearances by Sparky and more.
- Sparky’s Pep Rally: Hop online the day before each game to hear Sun Devil influencer commentary on the week’s opponent with guest appearances from former athletes and coaches.
- Chapter watch parties: Join your fellow chapter members for game watching parties near you.

Earn a certificate in data analytics and visualization
Data analysts with data visualization skills are in increasing demand by companies like Google, Facebook and Apple. This self-paced, four-course online certificate features interactive videos and realistic capstone projects. Here’s a sample of what you’ll do:
- Learn the basics of data analysis; sorting, filtering and interpreting data in Microsoft Excel.
- Get hands-on practice with programming languages SQL and Python.
- Create interactive data dashboards in the visual analytics platform Tableau.

Cheer on the D-backs with Sun Devils
Hear the crack of a bat against the ball. Hold your breath as it soars into the outfield. It’s time for ASU Night with the Diamondbacks. This year, the D‑backs take on the San Diego Padres on Tuesday, Aug. 31.

Football season is back! The day before the first game against Southern Utah, tune in online to Sparky’s Pep Rally with Sun Devil advocates Joe Healey, “Speak of the Devils” cohost, and Rob Reyes, known as “Jedi ASU.” These weekly pep rallies will include guest appearances from former athletes and coaches and commentary on the week’s opponent.
