How to overcome fear and taking risks?
1. Accept the uncertainty.
Yes, it might happen that things don’t work out the way you envisioned. But when a door closes, a window opens. Look at the bright side and try to get out of your comfort zone.
2. Write down the benefits.
What are the benefits that you can gain from overcoming your fear? Write them down for yourself and remember that your brain is wired to protect you. The fear it creates might be unreasonable or illogical. Don’t worry too much!
3. Your inner circle
Surround yourself with people who support, inspire and motivate you. Risk-takers, CEO’s, successful entrepreneurs and sport-superstars push each other to the next level. Form a winning team with your inner circle and reach the goals together!
4. Challenge yourself
What are the fears you are facing? The fear of failing? Or perhaps the fear of rejection? Being aware of your problems will solve half of them. Challenge yourself, and you will be surprised about the feeling of liberation and achievement satisfaction afterward.
Remember, losing and gaining is part of life.
