We can’t wait to celebrate CROWN Day with you on July 3rd!
Recognized as a special holiday, National CROWN Day commemorates the inaugural signing of the first CROWN Act while mobilizing the nation to end hair discrimination. Dove is hosting an exciting intergenerational celebratory experience with a call-to-action to help us pass the federal CROWN Act through social engagement, authentic storytelling, and activities focused on how all of us can help #PassTheCROWN.
This year’s events will incorporate a full-day of activities including the first annual CROWN Awards; honoring Black women paving the way with contributions to culture, community, entrepreneurship, entertainment and the advancement of Black beauty. On July 3rd you can join the CROWN Day virtual activities at thecrownact.com.
Activities on CROWN Day include:
- 10:30 am/ET: GET UP AND CROWN THE DAY Wellness Workout
- 7:00 pm/ET: THE INAUGURAL CROWN AWARDS
- 8:30 pm/ET: CROWN AFTER DAY After Party
- All Day: Social Storm with ‘THE MY CROWN IS…’ Photo App
