House Committee on Ethics to Representative Jayapal’s Frivolous Complaint: Buh-Bye!
On March 10, 2021, in spite of evidence to the contrary, Representative Pramila Jayapal of Washington filed an ethics complaint against yours truly alleging that my actions on January 6, 2021, particularly in objecting to the seating of electors for Mr. Biden, violated one or more rules of ethics.
As it turns out, Representative Jayapal objected in 2017 to the seating of electors for President Trump yet she ignored this important detail in her bogus complaint against me. You see, there are two sets of rules: one set for Democrats and another set for everyone else.
I am happy to report that the House Committee on Ethics decided this week to dismiss the baseless complaint filed against me by Representative Jayapal. This patently baseless claim attempted to conflate political disagreements with ethics. The House Committee on Ethics should never be politicized for partisan purposes. Taking political disagreements and re-framing them as ethics violations is improper, unethical and fully lacking in decorum.

Gosar Votes to End Forever Wars
This past week, I voted in favor of H.R. 256, a bill that repealed the authorization to use military force (AUMF) in Iraq that was initially passed by Congress in 2002, predicated on misrepresentations by the State Department about weapons of mass destruction. This bipartisan bill passed 268-161.
It is unprecedented, and should never happen again, where the United States’ military has an almost 20-year authorization for war. Our military should be used to effectively neutralize enemies quickly, and then return to the home base. There was no reason to keep our troops in harm’s way for a generation, long after the active military campaign had ended.
I look forward to ending additional authorizations of force that should have been terminated years ago. An America First military policy means military action should be used to defend our homeland, and only for as long as is necessary. It does not mean setting up an occupying army in foreign lands, wasting billions of dollars “rebuilding” foreign countries or worse, attempting to impose Jeffersonian democracy on cultures and lands that do not share those values.

The House Oversight and Reform Committee held its second politically motivated hearing regarding the January 6th riot in Washington, D.C. Sadly, the Democrats refused to call witnesses who could provide needed, updated information. If Democrats truly wanted answers, they would have called Capitol Police Acting Chief Pittman and D.C. Mayor Bowser to testify regarding their roles leading up to the attack on the U.S. Capitol. Or, they could have demanded the Department of Justice publicly release the nearly 14,000 hours of surveillance videos taken on January 6th, which I have been calling on them to do for months.
Instead, the Democrats used this hearing to push more lies and waste everyone’s time. I used my time to ask FBI Director Wray several unanswered questions about that day, including questions surrounding the death of Ashli Babbitt, an unarmed veteran who was shot to death by a still-unknown police officer. Ms. Babbitt was the only individual killed that day. Her death has been ruled a homicide. Yet, we have very little information about her death.
What caused a defenseless, veteran to be killed? Ashli’s family and the American people deserve to know the truth about her death.

This week, I joined several of my colleagues at a press conference to present to the American people the many reasons why Dr. Anthony Fauci should be removed as head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases for his lies and cover-up of American taxpayer funding directed to the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.
Dr. Fauci has been lying for months about the origins of the Wuhan virus and he has seriously mishandled the nation’s COVID-19 response.
Dr. Fauci has given contrary advice regarding the source of the virus, the transmissibility of the virus, the virulence of the virus, the efficacy of masks and vaccines, the efficacy of social distancing, and has demeaned anyone in the public health community that disagrees with him.
A few weeks ago, at Senate hearing, Fauci testified under oath that no taxpayer funds were used to fund research in Wuhan. He then recently reversed himself and testified at a House hearing that, in fact, the National Institute on Health earmarked $600,000 for the Wuhan lab to study the possibility that bat coronavirus could be transmitted to humans!
That’s called PERJURY.
The truth is, Dr. Fauci is no scientist. He’s an ACTOR and deserves an Oscar Award for the Best Dramatic Actor in a PANDEMIC!
Enough is enough! Dr. Fauci has got to go!

Gosar Demands Biden Replace Kamala Harris…
This week, I joined several of my colleagues calling on Mr. Biden to remove Kamala Harris from her position overseeing the crisis at the southern border and replace her with someone who will take the crisis seriously.
I have been to the border multiple times. What is taking place all along the southern border is unconscionable. The drug cartels control the border.Families are being destroyed. Children are being treated inhumanely and cramped into cages. Border Patrol officials can’t do their jobs because Mr. Biden refuses to enforce our immigration laws.
85 days have passed since Mr. Biden tasked Kamala Harris with solving the crisis his administration created along the border. Yet, she refuses to even acknowledge there is a crisis. She openly laughs when asked about it. This is no laughing matter.
I have no confidence in Kamala Harris to solve this problem. She has failed her most important task. She has failed the American people.
It’s time for Mr. Biden to remove Kamala Harris as Border Czar and put someone in place that will take this crisis seriously.
