Samaritan’s Purse

Lend a Hand in the Soggy
Southlands

Volunteers are urgently needed to serve in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi after massive spring thunderstorms triggered flash floods in all three states. Some areas received more than 20 inches of rain. Canals overflowed. Levees were breached. Torrents of water gushed into hundreds of homes.Sign Up to Volunteer

Our Disaster Relief Units—tractor-trailers filled with equipment and supplies—have deployed to a trio of the hardest hit locations: Lake Charles, Louisiana; Dumas, Arkansas; and Mound Bayou, Mississippi. Teams will help remove soaked walls, floors, and insulation, and carry soggy debris to the curb. Come join us and share the love of Christ—let hurting homeowners know that God has not forgotten them.

Please pray for those who have lost so much to these devastating storms. Pray, too, that the Lord will raise up an army of volunteers to help in this response.

This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
