We start today in the Arizona high country, where the city of Prescott and neighboring areas recognized the 10-year anniversary of the Yarnell Hill Fire that killed 19 firefighters. Prescott was flooded last week with thousands of attendees who traveled to honor and remember the brave men who were lost that day.

Over the weekend, extreme heat rolled into Arizona, bringing temperatures between 107-115 degrees. The high temperatures were partly due to a dangerous heat wave affecting parts of the South and Midwest, and the heat is showing no signs of stopping.
