Instead of the Casa Grande Fire Department helping others, the organization received help of its own last week. The Casa Grande City Council authorized the department to accept grant funding from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Over $3.5 million will go toward hiring more firefighters and ensuring the department continues to help the community.
