These planks come from the MCL38s that they drove at the 2024 Japanese Grand Prix and have been decorated with detailing to reflect the cars and the drivers’ race results. The race in Suzuka saw McLaren run a special one-off livery. Designed by Japanese artist MILTZ, it celebrated the ‘Driven by Change’ campaign which showcased emerging creatives and their work. MILTZ’s artwork was inspired by Edomoji, a traditional Japanese calligraphy, which was then fused with modern art and culture. This unique idea decorated both cars and now inspires these skid block plank wall art pieces. |
