Mic’d-up Mookie makes for must-see TV

When you mic up Dodgers superstar Mookie Betts, you never know where the conversation will go, but you know it’s going to be entertaining.

The highlight of Betts’ time with the mic during Sunday Night Baseball was when he found Juan Soto while walking off the field and asked the Padres slugger if he would loan him his incredible eye at the plate. Soto’s response? “I need you to show me how to hit.”

Betts also talked to the Sunday Night crew about what books he’s been reading, how often he gets out to the bowling alley and which one of his teammates needs a fashion makeover. He also expressed how much he loves L.A., outside of the recent heat wave.
