Iranian-backed terrorists fired a ballistic missile at Israel in the middle of the night. Sirens sounded. Children woke to the sound of fear. Families ran for cover.
This is not just a moment. This is a fight for survival that happens almost nightly.
As Yom HaZikaron, Israel’s Memorial Day, approaches this week, we honor our fallen, which has increased significantly since October 7, 2023.
Israel has endured profound losses: over 1,195 individuals were killed during the initial attacks. Subsequent military operations have claimed the lives of more than 400 Israeli soldiers.
Over 5,816 have been wounded and we anticipate these numbers will rise.
Thousands of soldiers are still on the front lines for the foreseeable future. Civilians remain in danger.
Families are grieving. Over 50 hostages are still in captivity and peace talks are failing.
At the Genesis 123 Foundation, we launched the Israel Emergency Fund to deliver immediate aid where it’s needed most — to soldiers, to terror victims, to the most vulnerable.
Provide life-saving emergency support to civilians and IDF members,
Shelter refugees displaced by the war.
Strengthen Israel’s resolve by providing PTSD counseling.
So long as Israel’s enemies continue to attack us, we must take a moment to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure the land of Israel also remains the State of Israel.
The Genesis 123 Foundation is a US-based non-profit. Our mission is to build bridges between Jews and Christians with Israel in ways that are new, unique, and meaningful. We have diverse leadership of Jews and Christians united toward this objective, and aspire to create an abundance of programs to achieve these goals. We are excited to play a role in this important mission and hope you will join us and be blessed.
