We were honored to spend the evening with you at the ASU President’s Club Spring Celebration at Caesars Republic. Your presence and thoughtful engagement made it an evening to remember – filled with meaningful conversation, renewed connection, and an inspiring exchange of ideas.

A Conversation with David Axelrod and President Crow

We extend our sincere thanks to David Axelrod, former white house official, for joining us for a timely and thought-provoking conversation about the evolving nature of democracy. In dialogue with President Crow, the discussion explored the challenges and opportunities facing civic institutions today – and how public universities like ASU are uniquely positioned to lead during moments of complexity and change.

During the conversation, David invited President Crow to share his personal story and what led him to this work – setting the stage for a wide-ranging discussion on ASU’s mission to support the continuous learner, scale innovation, and lead in a shifting global landscape.

We also extend our thanks to Pat Kenney, Executive Vice Provost at Arizona State University, for opening the evening and introducing the conversation.

Spotlighting ASU’s Changing Futures Campaign

The evening also highlighted ASU’s Changing Futures. From Arizona. For the World. campaign – our call to action for a future defined by innovation, access, and impact.

In his presentation, President Crow emphasized how Arizona is emerging as a hub for advanced research – and how ASU is meeting this moment at scale, including by employing more than 17,000 ASU graduates and growing. He reminded us that we must be “working at every level, finding the tools to make it possible” – and the President’s Club is proud to be part of that work.
