The weather is warming up, flowers are blooming, and birds are on the move. While you’re outside appreciating nature, why not spend some time counting birds for a brighter future?
Climate Watch is a community science program that explores how North American birds are responding to climate change. You don’t need to be an expert birder to participate, but you should know how to identify target species by sight and sound or be interested in learning to do so.
Our upcoming Climate Watch survey season will run from May 15 to June 15. Counting and documenting where birds are today and how they’re responding to a shifting climate is essential to protecting them tomorrow—and we need your help to do just that. |
