Student Chefs Give Campus a ‘Taste of the World’
|
|
On Feb. 26, the International Center and food science and experience industry management students partnered to bring the “Taste of the World” event to students, faculty and staff on campus.
Held on Dexter Lawn, this year’s event featured a variety of cuisines from Costa Rica, Ireland, Cuba, Thailand, Ghana and Australia.

Connie (Business Administration, ’94) and Joe Verceles (Biological Sciences, ’94; MBA, ’99) met at Cal Poly and started dating in 1993. They are celebrating 25 years of marriage on April 29! |

Ron Williams (Engineering Technology, ’87) has been awarded San Jose Soccer Referee of the Year in 2023 and most recently in 2024. Congratulations, Ron! |

Jynel Gularte (Agricultural Business, ’16) won the California Young Farmers and Ranchers Excellence in Agriculture award in Dec. 2024. She currently serves as the Chair of the Central Coast Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee. |
