CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
We’re thrilled to share some impressive progress on the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library (TRPL) construction. This October, we celebrated a major milestone with the official “topping out” of the main building structure, marking the completion of the highest point—a significant step toward realizing our vision.
Key Updates:
Sustainable Timber and Steel Structure: The installation of sustainable mass timber beams and steel framework is complete, highlighting TRPL’s commitment to environmental stewardship.
Rammed Earth Walls & Roof: The unique rammed earth walls are built, and roof concrete is in place, adding natural beauty and protection as we move into winter.
Winter Preparations: Temporary enclosures are being added to ensure construction continues smoothly through the colder months.
Operations and Infrastructure: Work on the Operations and Maintenance building is progressing, with foundational elements for water and wastewater systems installed. The MEP underground installations are also complete.
What’s Next:
Our team will focus on interior work through winter and begin the slab-on-grade phase and boardwalk foundation construction soon, paving the way for interior finishes and outdoor accessibility.
We’re thrilled to share that our first-ever Speaker Series event, An Evening with Arthur Brooks, was a resounding success! Over 730 guests joined us at the Fargo Theater to hear a thought-provoking conversation between Arthur Brooks and our CEO, Ed O’Keefe, discussing Theodore Roosevelt’s impactful time in North Dakota.
We’re grateful for the incredible support shown by our community. Catch a short clip from the event, and stay tuned for more engaging talks in the future! Don’t forget to follow us on social media and sign up for our newsletter for updates on upcoming events.
