Register Now For The New York City Holiday Ramble!

There’s still a little time to register for the December 7 New York City Holiday Ramble. But don’t wait!

We’ll spend the day in the Big Apple’s two landmark train stations, enjoying private tours and special holiday events.

We’ll board our chartered motorcoach on a drive to New York City, where we’ll meet our guide for a tour of the past, present and future Penn Station, including the newly-opened Moynihan Train Hall with its exciting art and how it was created.

We’ll later have time for lunch on our own at one of Grand Central Terminal’s many on-site restaurants, cafés and food stands.   We’ll also have time to shop at Grand Central’s Holiday Fair, an elegant indoor market located inside the historic Vanderbilt Hall, and to view Grand Central’s Holiday Train Show, a city within a city display of Lionel O gauge electric trains traveling along a 34-foot-long, two tier, operating layout.

This afternoon, we’ll meet our guide for a tour of the vast Grand Central Terminal, its stories, secrets, history and architecture,

including the terminal’s previously private Campbellapartment, built by John W. Campbell as his personal office as president of the Credit Clearing House and board member of the New York Central Railroad.

Rates for the New York City Holiday Ramble are $279.00 per person for currentmembers of the Friends of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania and $299.00 per person for non-members.
