We are half a year away from Holy Week, yet there is much in the readings for this coming Sunday that reminds us of Good Friday. Indeed, every Sunday we stand at the foot of the cross. Come join us there.

Welcoming/New Member/Hospitality Team

Help organize & orchestrate reaching out and welcoming ALL people within the church and in the larger community, including organizing greeters and connecting with people who fill out connection cards.

Social Team

Help organize & orchestrate  our Social gatherings within the church community and in the larger community.

Outreach/Faith in Action Team

Help organize & orchestrate serving our neighbors within the church and in the larger community.

Education/Faith Formation Team

Help organize & orchestrate our Educational Faith Formation opportunities within the church and in the larger community, including Kid’s City.

Worship Team

Help organize & orchestrate worship within the church and in the larger community.

Finance & Stewardship Team

Help organize & orchestrate how we use our time, talents and treasures for ministry, including budget planning and auditing and helping the church treasurer when needed.

Prayer Team

Help organize & orchestrate prayer ministry within the church and in the larger community.

MEET FRIENDS
Spread the word!!  We will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event in conjunction with Crossfit Solid Gold on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 4:00-6:00pm!  We will have trick or treating, Halloween music, and fun games!  Would you like to participate by decorating your trunk and providing candy to all of the little ghosts and goblins?  Contact us at:  admin@iamcrossroads.org
Join us following Service for a Chili Cook-off, Pumpkin Painting and a Costume Parade!  Sign up to either enter your secret recipe for the chili cook-off or bring a dish to share!  Sign-up at church or by emailing:  admin@iamcrossroads.org
MAKE LIFE BETTER
Florence Make a Difference Day is a vibrant event that offers a variety of projects for residents and volunteers to participate in.  From local clean-up to beautification, and everything in between, there’s something for everyone!  Projects may include cleaning, painting, collecting litter, digging, planting etc.  We are going to volunteer as a church group together.  Please sign-up at church or by emailing admin@iamcrossroads.org
Help support the Superstition Community Food Bank with their annual “Cereal Killer” Drive!  We will be collecting the above items through Sunday, October 27!
Take note of the new location for Feed My Starving Children!  We will be at their new facility for all upcoming packs!

STATION COFFEE CO. HAPPENINGS
The Station Coffee Co. is in need of a part time Barista. No experience required but must be able to work Saturdays and some evenings! If you are or know anyone looking for a job, please come to The Station and grab an application. You can call them or talk with Lisa Parrish at church too!
