World Champs, inaugural races, and new venues.

MAMMOTH LAKES, CA
The Cali heat and altitude elevated the course difficulty to new heights at the most challenging OCR World Championship yet. The wall climbs were a smash, as athletes tried their best to not get left hanging. Racers from around the world took their place on the podium, for a celebration of the sport and OCR community.
HAINAN, CHINA
Don’t let the palm trees and sea breeze fool you: Hainan was no paradise. The beach racecourse challenged our athletes with each and every sandy step, as they battled it out in China’s first Spartan Sprint.
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE
Nicholas Ryker and Addisen Kohls raced neck and neck all the way to the last obstacle, A-Frame Cargo. It came down to the wire, but thanks to his superior technique, Ryker edged out Kohls for first place by a mere seven seconds.
SAINT-RAPHAËL, FRANCE
Saint-Raphaël welcomed a record number of athletes to close out the season at the final of the France National Series. Claudia Bongiovanni and Jérémy Gachet took home the National Series gold.
BEDĚRICHOV, CZECH REPUBLIC
It’s all downhill from here: Athletes competed at Vesec, home of the 2009 Nordic World Ski Championships, this weekend, where the hilly racecourse resulted in some seriously sore legs.
