An alleged human smuggler was arrested in Casa Grande after five vehicle occupants fled and were not located after a pursuit along Interstate 10. A deputy from the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop a gray Lexus traveling along I-10 outside Eloy for failing to maintain its lane. As the deputy approached, the driver pulled away, causing the deputy to follow in pursuit.
Meanwhile, Central Arizona College hopes to increase the workforce in healthcare professions to meet population needs.
