Midnight deadline: Get your gift matched to go 2X as far for the birds you love
Dear Peter Anthony,

Time is running out to get your first annual gift matched and make twice the impact for birds in need. If climate change continues unchecked, more deadly weather events, including wildfires, drought, and extreme heat lie ahead, worsening the impacts on birds and their habitats. Birds tell us that their survival—and ours—depends on each of us taking immediate action to curb the worst effects of climate change.

We are committed to protecting vulnerable birds and their habitats, today and tomorrow—and you make our best efforts on behalf of birds possible. So please, start your annual gift right away while your first donation will be matched. But hurry! This special offer expires at midnight tonight.

Your gift will be immediately charged to your saved credit card ending in 7794.

You can change their fate
Climate change is intensifying wildfire seasons globally.
Wildfires present severe challenges for bird populations, in some cases causing significant population decline.
There’s still time to change course, but we must act now.
Multiple studies have found that climate change has already led to an increase in wildfire season length, wildfire frequency, and burned area. The situation is dire—and yet, we are not without hope. Using our century of expertise and proven combination of rigorous research, committed advocacy, and hands-on conservation, we can protect birds and the places they need. Right now, we’re supporting a number of bills in Congress to reauthorize existing programs or create new programs to restore habitat, protect wildlife, and build community resilience in places like the Great Lakes, the Connecticut River, the Everglades and South Florida, the Delaware River basin, the Mississippi River, and across the imperiled sagebrush ecosystem.
But we must do more while there’s still time to build a brighter future for birds—and for that, we need you. This is your last chance to make the most of this special match offer, so please don’t miss it: Start your annual donation before midnight tonight while your first gift will be matched, up to $50,000.

Sincerely,

National Audubon Society
