Trump Document Case Tossed Out
This week, nearly two years since the Biden Administration authorized the deadly use of force during the FBI’s raid on President Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago, U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon tossed out the case against our former president. August 8, 2022 was truly an historic day, and for all the wrong reasons. For years, the Left has weaponized the federal government by using violence and intimidation to silence or destroy their political enemies. The shameful raid at Mar-a-Lago showed the lengths that the Deep State will go to in order to protect Joe Biden and the Democrat party. In dismissing the case, Judge Cannon ruled that the appointment of a special counsel by disgraced Attorney General Merrick Garland was unconstitutional.
The well-respected constitutional jurist, Justice Clarence Thomas, noted in an opinion earlier this year that there is “no law establishing the office that the Special Counsel occupies, then he cannot proceed with this prosecution.” In addition, Justice Thomas explained that “a private citizen cannot criminally prosecute anyone, let alone a former President.” That is essentially what the up-and-coming federal judge Cannon concluded as well in dismissing the unconstitutional persecution. I agree with the judge’s decision to dismiss the case. The Democrat’s political prosecution of Donald Trump must end.
President Trump Announces Running Mate
This week, President Trump selected Ohio Senator J.D. Vance as his vice-presidential running mate. Senator Vance grew up in poverty, joined the Marines after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, authored the best-selling book Hillbilly Elegy, a best-selling autobiography and succeeded in business. His working-class roots appeal to the forgotten men and women sidelined the past four years by Joe Biden’s woke policies, reckless spending, crushing Bidenflation and green new scams.
Gosar Receives Taxpayers’ Friend Award
I was recently honored by the National Taxpayers Union (NTU) for having one of the strongest voting records in Washington, D.C. for supporting limited government, economic freedom, and low taxes. As one of only 38 House Members and three Senators to have earned the “Taxpayers’ Friend Award” for my voting record during the 2023 Congressional session, I am proud of this achievement.
Each year, the NTU examines every roll call vote taken in the Senate and House, then weigh those votes based on fiscal or regulatory impact on taxpayers. Because even votes with a small fiscal impact count, not just a select handful, it’s a significant accomplishment to achieve an “A” on this scorecard.
Since 1979, NTU has annually recognized Representatives and Senators who earn high voting scores to qualify them for the “Taxpayers’ Friend Award.” To see NTU’s full 2023 congressional scorecard click here.
Team Gosar Honors Kingman Drug Treatment Court Graduates
This week, my amazing District Director, Penny Pew, had the honor of attending the Kingman Veteran Treatment Court Graduation Ceremony and presented William Derrick, U.S. Coast Guard, with a Congressional recognition certificate and a challenge coin.
Many of our nation’s heroes return home from combat and face serious challenges including finding employment, addiction to drugs and alcohol as well as suffering from mental illness. These veterans need and deserve focused treatment to combat their struggles.
Veterans Treatment Court is a problem-solving court that is intended to serve Veterans struggling with addiction, serious mental illness, PTSD and/or re-occurring disorders as well as any other issues the Veteran may have, including housing, employment, and education. The Court promotes sobriety, recovery, and stability through a coordinated response that involves cooperation and collaboration with the City Attorney, Defense Counsel, the Veterans Administration and other local agencies to give each participant the opportunity to be a productive, healthy Veteran and citizen.
Mr. Derrick was the 101st graduate since the court’s inception in 2015. Many thanks to Judge Jeffrey Singer for initiating and overseeing the drug treatment program and for his genuine care for our Veterans.

It’s Mail Time!
📬 I received countless letters from constituents this week asking if I could provide a copy of the immigration chart that President Trump turned his head to look at mere seconds before an assassin shot him last weekend in Butler, Pennsylvania. Had he not turned his head and pointed to the chart, it is quite certain that President Trump would be dead today. As requested, here’s the chart that saved President Trump’s life and detailing the number of illegal aliens entering the country since 2012. 👇👇👇
