Student Ambassadors Changing the World
As part of our mission to educate, the Mutt-i-grees® Curriculum Global Ambassador Program encourages students to volunteer to give voice to the voiceless, whether they are homeless animals or humans. In collaboration with their peers and community, they raise awareness for injustice creating change through their own actions. Take a look at this year’s class of Ambassadors and the work they have done to create a more humane world.
It is a small world after all. Sometimes it takes a global village.
In a world that often feels divided by politics, religion, economics, race, and almost anything else you can name, it warms my heart to realize that some positive things unite us. One of these is our compassion for homeless dogs, cats — and rabbits!
Next week, thousands of innocent animals will be stolen, tortured and slaughtered at the annual Yulin Dog Meat Festival in Yulin, China. We need your help to end it for good. Across Asia, millions of dogs and cats are eaten each year. But that’s changing. Recently South Korea introduced a sweeping ban on eating and selling dog meat. But we won’t rest until this practice is illegal everywhere. Will you raise your voice and help us shut down this cruel practice?
Just as important in cold weather, feral cats need proper shelter during the summer months. These cats can be particularly vulnerable to extreme temperatures and at risk of dehydration and heat exhaustion.
While people may enjoy the spectacle, the loud booms and flashing lights caused by fireworks can put our pets into panic mode. Here are some helpful reminders to make a stress-free holiday for you and your pet.

From September 19 to October 19, 2024, registered participants will walk while fundraising to help support homeless animals. We will keep you updated on fun weekly contests and milestone fundraising rewards. Share your walk journey with friends and family to let them know why you walk – whether it’s for your favorite furry pal, in memory of a devoted animal lover or pet, or for animals EVERYWHERE!
