Hello All,
On Monday, June 17th we will be presenting Tom Landis who will be discussing how each of us, on a very small plot of land, will be able to establish a Monarch Waystation. We would enjoy seeing you there!
Monarch Waystations are being established across America to assist the Monarch butterfly in its annual migrations. For a multitude of reasons the Monarch has lost nearly 90% of its population.
The purpose of a waystation is to provide food and reproduction habitat for one of the most majestic butterflies in the world. To establish a waystation may not be as challenging or expensive as it may seem.
Tom, a retired Forester, will be presenting at the Shady Cove Library Community Room (Hwy 62) from 6:00 to 7:30 PM on 06/17/2024. (Powerpoint 6:00 to 7:00 PM and Q & A 7:00 – 7:30 PM) RSVP helps, but not needed.
Thanks, hank
