Dear Friend of Liberty,
I’m writing to share urgent news with you. Our constitutional freedoms and energy independence are under attack from the Biden Administration’s aggressive policies. These policies are crippling our energy industry, stifling economic growth, and threatening livelihoods across the nation.
These policies are driven by people who want to shut down small-scale miners and independent energy producers. As you probably know, the Biden Administration has filled key positions with radical “green” activists who are determined to undercut and kill energy production in America:
- Vice President Kamala Harris—who says, “We know we cannot achieve health justice, economic justice, racial justice, or educational justice without environmental justice.”
- Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland—a former far-left member of Congress who also participated in the protests against the Dakota Access Pipeline in 2016, which turned violent.
- Bureau of Land Management Director Tracy Stone-Manning—who previously worked for Earth First, which is famous for acts of eco-terrorism and arson.
- Beverly Wright—who serves on the White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council and equates energy production and fossil fuels with racism.
Small-scale miners, and independent energy producers, are suffering due to these overreaching regulations.
Almost every day, we’re hearing from more and more Americans who desperately need our help in defending their rights as the government overreaches to shut down their businesses and make their land unusable for the purposes they need to feed their families.
We’ve won key cases against Deb Haaland to overturn her agency’s attempts to shut down mining operations and refuse small family businesses the right to operate on land they own.
But we need to do more. That’s why we are preparing to launch MSLF’s new Center for American Prosperity & Energy.
With your help, MSLF’s Center for American Prosperity & Energy will have talented attorneys working in-house, whose full-time job is pursuing natural resources litigation. At the same time, it will also utilize the consistent and effective messaging operation needed for nationwide public outreach and education.
Keep in mind that we represent our clients at zero legal cost because no American should be denied justice. And the cases we take on can set legal precedent and put the government back in its place.
As you know, we are a public-interest law firm. We take no handouts from the federal government. We rely solely on the support of friends like you to ensure that our remarkable team of litigators has the resources needed to win in court.
That’s why I’m asking you to send a generous gift to help us raise the $301,000 needed to successfully launch MSLF’s new Center for American Prosperity & Energy this year. And here’s another reason to let me hear from you today.
Our MSLF Board of Directors feels so strongly about the threat to natural resources producers, that they’re issuing the following matching gift challenge:
For every contribution we receive by June 14th, our Board members will match every gift—dollar for dollar—up to $90,000. That means that any gift you send today will be worth twice as much.
Would you please help us meet this matching gift challenge by giving a gift of $50, $100, $250, even $500 or $1,000 or more, and allowing our Board to match it?
Your matched contribution will help us deploy all the weapons in our legal arsenal—all locked and loaded and ready to defend our property rights, mining, and drilling rights, and every right enshrined in the Constitution.
If you’re as angry as I am about what Biden has done to energy production and small businesses, this is your chance to fight back.
Click here to make your gift today and have it matched by our Board.
Thank you so much for your generosity.
