At Movement Labs, we want to be sure that we get every single eligible voter informed, connected, and ready to participate by Election Day.
Because the sad truth is that voting rights are not equal across the board in this country.
Far too often these days, right-wing election officials are skirting rules, especially in minority communities, by switching up, reducing, or closing polling places.
We’ve seen DMV closures make it harder for folks to obtain IDs after Voter ID laws were passed. And residents have been randomly purged from the voter rolls if they haven’t voted in a while. And, in several right-wing-led states, voter outreach groups struggle to do their jobs. That just doesn’t sit right with our team.
But the more we connect with voters, supporters, and volunteers, the bigger we can build our grassroots, people-powered movement that shows up in every precinct in every election, never missing a chance to make their voices heard.
