We start today with news on the I-10, as construction crews this week begin drilling more than 90 shafts for new Gila River bridges as the first part of widening the road from Casa Grande to Chandler. Construction on the I-10 bridges began on May 13, and completion is estimated for late 2026. Read more about the road work.
In Maricopa, Legacy Traditional School’s campus might look a little different in the new school year. Construction is currently underway on an 11,060-square-foot building within school grounds. The building, which is slated to be ready this fall, will feature the addition of a gymnasium and seven classrooms.
