There were no injuries.
In 1974, the Equality Act was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives and referred to the House Committee on Judiciary, aiming to expand protections under the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to prohibit “discrimination on account of sex, marital status or sexual orientation.” The bill did not advance to the full House for a vote.
In 1988, outside of Carrollton, Kentucky, a drunk driver going the wrong way on an interstate hit a converted school bus that was carrying a church group. The crash and fire killed 27 people, many of them children, and wounded 34.

He initially live-streamed the attack on the social media platform Twitch, but the company ended the broadcast.
