It’s not to late to join us for our next Community Wellness Education Event!

Southern Belle Cleaners will be joining us in-person in Oakton on Wednesday, April 24th from 6:30-8:00 pm to give their “Clean Like a Belle: Discussing Positive Approaches” presentation. This presentation will cover how your mental health can affect the cleanliness of your living space, how the cleanliness of your living space can affect your mental health, and tips for how maintain a clean space.

NAMI Northern Virginia is accepting applications for its Board of Directors. The NAMI Northern Virginia Board of Directors works collaboratively with our executive director and represents the interests of the members to govern (not manage) the organization, set the budget responsibly, establish priorities, values, and strategies, and provide guidance around various programs and services. Our goal in nominating potential candidates for Director is to have a diversity of lived experience and professional background that reflects the cultural, social, demographic, and ideological diversity of all residents of Northern Virginia.

Join VOICE & Connections Health for a Virtual Tour of a Crisis Receiving Center!

VOICE is partnering with Connections Health to host a virtual tour of a model Crisis Receiving Center in Arizona on Tuesday, April 23rd from 7:00-8:15 pm at Burke Presbyterian Church in Burke, VA. This is an opportunity to learn more about how Crisis Receiving Centers (CRC) work and to see a model CRC that incorporates both adult and youth wings with short-stay beds and 23 hour recliners.
