5 Tips For A Good Night’s Sleep…

Once menopause hit me the number one issue for me wasn’t the hot flashes (to be sure they were bad) but not sleeping was/is the worst!

I talked to my doctor about this and she gave me some tips to try. This was over two years ago and I’m happy to say I sleep so much better!

See if these easy to follow tips will help you!

1. Have a regular sleep pattern
When we were kids our Mom had a bed time for us. Try to go to bed at around the same time every evening and get up at around the same time every morning.

2. Wind down and relax before going to bed
Sort out any problems well before going to bed. Use this time to go over the day’s activities and tomorrow’s activities.

3. Use A Sleep Sound Machine
So this is the one that actually shocked me. When my doctor said to try one of these I always thought the sound would keep me up, but to my surprise it actually helped!

The reason it works so well is it creates a consistent sound environment. You focus on the sound from the machine and aren’t jarred awake by distracting sounds like a car horn, a snoring spouse and more.

I bought my Sleep Sound Machine online and paid $29.99… I have to say it was worth every penny! But we actually have an even better Sleep Sound Machine and it’s a fraction of the price!

See it below AND your special price. (also article continues further below…)

4. Make sure your bedroom is comfortable
You should have a quiet, dark room with comfortable bedding and good temperature control.

For comfortable bedding may I recommend: Cooling Sheets by Cool Theory These luxuriously soft sheets are 85 %off for our readers.

5. Alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes should be avoided
Alcohol may help you to get off to sleep, but will disrupt your sleep during the night. Caffeine (tea, coffee, cola drinks) and the nicotine in cigarettes are stimulants that can keep you awake.

There’s nothing better than a good night’s sleep, seeing which of these tips (if not all) work for you could be the best thing you can do to feel better all day long.
