Hot on the heels of the weekend’s Cactus Fly-In, City Council members will be asked to approve a new master plan for Casa Grande Municipal Airport today. A study session regarding the airport master plan was held last year. If approved, the plan will replace the 2009 airport master plan and will act as guide for future planning. Meanwhile, a longtime civil rights activist is running to replace outspoken Republican state Sen. Wendy Rogers. As state senator, Roberto Reveles said he plans to bring moderation and his experience in advocacy, critical analysis, public policy and helping other officeholders.
