While there are comedy clubs in the Valley that bring in a host of laugh-inducing shows, now Pinal County residents may not have to go much further than Coolidge to see top acts from Arizona, and possibly further, perform. The premiere event for the new Coolidge Comedy Show is scheduled for March 17 at El Grotto. The monthly showcase is designed to give emerging and established comedians a platform to show off their talents.
Area book lovers can rejoice as a Florence author has recently released her first book. For Hermalene Wick, leap years have always been a fascinating phenomenon — something she explores through her sci-fi novel, “From Eden to Earth.”
