“Our investigation uncovered evidence that President Biden willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen.”
“Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory. Based on our direct interactions with and observations of him, he is someone for whom many jurors will want to identify reasonable doubt. It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him-by then a former president well into his eighties-of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.”
Thus, the prosecutor found thousands of classified materials that Biden stole throughout his career dating back to the 1980’s. However, because he is now a doddering old man who can’t remember anything, prosecution will not be pursued.
The prosecutor made sure to point out that Trump is not mentally infirm, and that Trump has argued that he was entitled to keep his records, thus warranting the first prosecution of a former president for keeping documents. The prosecutor acknowledged that President Reagan and other presidents all kept records, likely in violation of the law.
Gosar Votes to Impeach Secretary Mayorkas, Three RINO’s Save His Behind
This week, Ivoted to impeach Department of Homeland Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for willfully refusing to enforce federal immigration laws and breach of public trust.
Since Biden took office and Mayorkas has been Secretary, more than 10 million illegal aliens, 360 terrorists, 90,000 convicted criminals and 26 tons of fentanyl have been welcomed into our country. Despite swearing an oath to uphold and execute our immigration laws, Mayorkas knowingly ignored them and repeatedly lied to the American public. That is why I voted to impeach him.
Unfortunately, three RINO’s (Representatives Buck, McClintock and Gallagher) voted with every democrat to spare Mayorkas from having to take responsibility for his dereliction of duty. Impeachment is still on the table as House Republicans plan to take it up again next week when we expect to have all our Members in Washington, D.C., including Congressman Steve Scalise who missed the vote because he is recovering from cancer treatments. I’ll have an update on how this vote plays out in next week’s newsletter.
Breaking news: After voting to not impeach Mayorkas, Representative Gallagher announced last night he will not seek reelection. He clearly knew he would not win reelection.
This week I joined several of my colleagues on a letter to the Department of Justice (DOJ) asking they not destroy the bodies of five fetuses that were found dumped in a parking lot along with another 110 other fetuses. The five at issue appeared to have been viable babies, if not actually born alive. The killing of these babies would constitute murder under the Born Alive Infant Protection Act. The current regime at the DOJ, which is highly politicized and spends much of its time covering up for the Biden administration while prosecuting President Trump and his supporters, has given its blessing to the final disposition of the five baby bodies. This will prevent an autopsy. There was hope that if a different administration takes over next year, then an autopsy would have been done to see if they were in fact born alive and a criminal prosecution against the clinic and doctor should be taken.
Meanwhile, as I noted in last week’s newsletter, this same DOJ has put in jail a half dozen pro-life advocates who said prayers and peacefully stood near an abortion clinic. Those defendants were convicted of violating the rights of the abortion doctors and are looking at 11 years in prison.
This situation I describe, where babies are killed and the murderers go free, while Christians praying to end abortion go to jail, tells us who is in control of our country. It is not God.
Gosar Votes to Help Medicare Benefits
This week I voted in favor of H.R. 485, the Protecting Health Care for All Patients Act, which barely passed the House, with all democrats voting against it and all Republicans voting for it. This legislation addresses a major problem with Medicare Advantage. Currently, Medicare Advantage plans consider a patients’ “quality of life” when deciding how to cover care. This is immoral and arbitrary. Bureaucrats and insurance clerks should not decide what level of coverage you get based on their subjective belief your stage of life and the “quality” of your life. This Marxist approach to dehumanizing our people has to be extracted from our health care system.
H.R. 485 aims to block Medicare Advantage from taking these factors into account. Currently, section 1182 of the Social Security Act prohibits the Medicare program from using “quality-adjusted life year,” estimates in coverage allocation decisions. H.R. 485 would apply the restrictions to all other federal health care programs as well as private Medicare Advantage plans.
Wherever you are, in whatever “stage of life” you should be treated by your government with dignity and respect.
Did You Know?
I said previously I strongly oppose the Senators Schumer, Lankford an McConnell amnesty bill for illegal aliens that failed this week in the Senate. But did you know that in addition to massive amnesty, and allowing by law 5,000 illegal aliens into our country each day from Mexico, the bill permits anunlimited number of illegal aliens from other countries, forever? There were other gems like this:
The bill attempts to fund a reckless proxy war in Ukraine with another $60 billion on top of the $120 billion already wasted and used to kill hundreds of thousands of people in the conflict. That amount, by itself, is nearly $7 billion more than the entire $53.8 billion budget for the U.S. Marine Corps. Imagine sending your money to the most corrupt and dictatorial regime, Ukraine, in amounts greater than our own military is funded. This is lunacy and the definition of America Last.
In addition, the Schumer-Lankford-McConnell amnesty threw in, just for giggles, $300 million of your tax dollars to fund the Ukrainian police while our country simultaneously suffers from a massive crime wave, including over 10 million illegal aliens walking into our country, committing additional crimes, and causing rampant homelessness and despair.
Always Months, if not Years Ahead of Others
By the way, I was one of only three who initially opposed the proxy war in Ukraine in 2022. Today most Republicans, excluding the war mongering neocons most of whom are former socialists, are against this insane proxy war. A good number of democrats are starting to wake up to our disastrous foreign policies, too.
America First Legal Files Election Related Lawsuit Against Maricopa County
America First Legal is a non-profit legal center comprised of lawyers who previously staffed the Trump administration. They have filed numerous, successful suits against corporations and government agencies that engage in routine and illegal discrimination against Asian and White people, election integrity litigation, and against school districts that violate parental rights. In the short time they have been around, AFL has been quite successful.
AFL recently filed suit in Arizona against Maricopa County based on the problems with the 2022 election. There were two statewide races, Abe Hamadeh for Attorney General, and Kari Lake for Governor, that were very close, and even a small percentage of error would change the outcome. In this suit, it is alleged that Maricopa County refuses to comply with Arizona election law, including: maintaining a mandatory chain of custody for ballots (which caused a 25,000 vote discrepancy, enough to change the outcome for governor and attorney general). The suit further alleges that Maricopa County ignored mandatory reconciliation procedures to track each ballot printed or issued to a voter. It has been noted that the “law requires tracking and reconciling ballots cast and voters checked in to stop fraud, but the Defendants do not perform any reconciliation procedures at all.” There are several other allegations of malfeasance and misfeasance.
Honestly, when it comes to politics in the courts, the courts have been largely a disappointment. It is clear the courts do not like politics, election law and anything related to elections. Thus, I am not holding my breath for any court order that will square things away. I think the state legislature is going to have to do this, and as long as Hobbs is Governor, meaningful election reforms will not occur.
Judicial Watch Uncovers Massive Illegal Alien Subsidies Using Your Money
In 2022 the agency improperly spent $8.925 billion and in 2023 it spent another $10.928 billion. This money is being spent on illegal aliens for housing and medical care. Meanwhile, American taxpayers are getting no help with their housing and medical costs. Indeed, housing costs and medical costs continue to rapidly increase due to the rapid inflation caused by the democrats.
Keep in mind, this is just one agency. There are dozens of federal agencies spending your money on illegal aliens. None of these programs have been approved by Congress in the manner they are being used.
Texas Proves that Southern Border Can be Secured
Here’s a story you won’t read much about from the Fake News: Texas Governor Abbott led two delegations of legislators this week highlighting Eagle Pass, Texas, once the site of thousands of illegal border crossings every day, is now secure. Governor Abbott used razor wire to reinforce the border. These efforts led to a sharp decline in illegals walking across the border. Arizona’s border continues to be overwhelmed thanks to Biden’s open border policies. Just imagine if Arizona had a governor who would hold the line against Biden’s border crisis.
The Border by the Numbers
Since Joe Biden took office:
10 million illegal crossings nationwide.
1.7 million known gotaways who evaded U.S. Border Patrol
In December 2023 302,000 illegal aliens invaded our country, the highest on record
In December 2023, 19 more individuals on the terrorist watchlist were stopped trying to enter the U.S. illegally.
361 individuals whose names appear on the terrorist watchlist who have been stopped trying to enter the U.S. illegally between ports of entry.
There are OVER 60 instances of Joe Biden and his Administration taking actions that undermined our nation’s border security, including halting the construction of the border wall.
In August 2022, Biden and his Administration decided to make the border crisis WORSE by formally ending former President Trump’s successful ‘Remain in Mexico’ program.”
Biden’s Department of Homeland Security has now admitted that 85 percent of catch-and-release migrants have disappeared into our country with no way to track them.
More Numbers to Chew On:
Since January 20, 2021, the gross federal debt has increased by $6.4 trillion.
To put that in perspective, the federal government has accumulated more debt in the last three years than in the first 214 years of the U.S. federal government (1789-2002).
The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) baseline projected gross federal debt would increase by a further $18.2 trillion over the next ten years, reaching a massive $52.4 trillion by 2033.
Over the next thirty years, CBO projects the gross federal debt to more than quadruple, increasing by almost $120 trillion.
Compared to the CBO baseline Biden inherited, the projected ten-year outlays have increased from $61.2 trillion to $80.1 trillion, an increase of $18.9 trillion or 30.8 percent. This translates to a 10% jump in outlays as a percentage of GDP.
Projected ten-year interest payments on the debt are up $6.0 trillion, or 131.9 percent.
Contrary to Democrats’ claims, this country has a spending problem—not a revenue problem. Projected ten-year revenues are up $10.8 trillion, or 22.1 percent.
Americans pay some of the highest taxes in the world. When you combine federal income taxes, state income taxes, property taxes, sales taxes and the hundreds of fees tacked on to hotels, rental cars, concert tickets, airline tickets, and on and on, a middle-class American may pay an effective tax rate of 50%. Ponder this: the Founders of the United States started a revolution over a one cent tax.
It’s Mail Time!
I receive thousands of letters each week and do my very best to respond to everyone. Here are samples of some of the letters I received this week:
Dean O. from Lake Havasu City shares:
I appreciate the fact that you are looking into why the three soldiers were killed in Iraq. As an Iraq veteran, I believe the best action would be to exit from all these worthless deployments. We have accomplished nothing!
Dean—you served your country and we are proud of you and very happy you came home in one piece. So many of our soldiers have been sacrificed in Iraq, Afghanistan and now Syria, and in prior wars like Vietnam.
We have to ask ourselves: why? To what end? We cannot force Jeffersonian democracy on other cultures that do not share our values. We are not “fighting for democracy” there or in Ukraine.
We are feeding an almost trillion dollar a year war machine that needs new wars and conflicts to remain profitable.
Imagine if we spent the trillions in the United States that we instead wasted in Afghanistan and Iraq. Our once great nation suffers from rampant homelessness, crime and despair, yet the neocons and warmongers focus our money on cycles of destruction and rebuilding in foreign countries – anywhere but here, where it is needed.
Dean, your sacrifice and the sacrifice of others should be to help our nation. The troops in Syria and Iraq today are not helping us at all. I pray for their safe return.
James V. from Litchfield Park laments:
It is extremely disappointing our republicans could not get their act together to impeach this criminal Mayorkas.
James, don’t get me started. We had a slim majority to start with. Then my colleagues kicked out McCarthy and Santos. Then a couple others are leaving or sick, like Scalise. We are now facing a power sharing agreement with the democrats. This means very little good legislation will get through, like the Mayorkas impeachment.
We will try again next week. Mayorkas has violated his constitutional oath of office, he deserves impeachment.
David E. from San Tan Valley expresses the same concern:
Tell Mr. Gosar thanks for voting to impeach Mayorkas. I wish the rest of the idiots up on Capitol Hill would pull their heads out of their asses and realize that puppet Biden caused this problem. He is so dumb: he could shut the border down in a New York-second. Maybe we should send the migrants to his families’ back yard in Delaware? What a disgrace.
David, the decision by the democrats to open the border is a policy decision. It’s not a lack of funding. It’s not a lack of manpower. It’s not because our laws are “broken.”
They have chosen to ignore the laws. They instructed the border patrol to welcome, caress and help illegal aliens. It’s all by their design and it’s criminal. Yes: we should send a million illegal aliens to Delaware. The Biden democrats caused the problem, they can fix it.
John H. from Yuma shares a different perspective:
Quit playing political games. I am so tired of Trump this and Trump that. He tried to completely disrupt our democratic system. Stop your Trump ass kissing and do your job. Thanks for your time, as if you care.
Oh John, I care. Probably too much. That’s why when I’m at the club and the DJ says “Put your hands in the air like you just don’t care” I leave my hands down, because I care.
I’m sorry you have been misled and lied to by a portion of the media. Trump did not “disrupt our democratic system.” He was lawfully allowed to contest an election and he did so. Just like the democrats did in 2016 and 2000. It is dishonorable to argue that only democrats are allowed to challenge electoral irregularities. I reject your premise entirely and hope one day you gain a perspective that includesfairness, nuance and the rule of law.
