Blue South
Peter — of all the issues on the ballot this year there is one that often gets overlooked: Climate change.

That’s right: The issue with the most consequences for humanity as a whole often holds no sway over how people vote.

We at Blue South’s data team are trying to find what key issues are guiding your vote in 2024. So today, we are asking a random selection of 20,000 supporters:

How much will your vote be swayed by a candidate’s stance on climate change?

The issue of climate change could not be more important or more urgent.

And yet, Democrats and Republicans could not be further away on this issue.

This means your vote is going to have a direct impact on the country’s decision to tackle climate change head-on by investing in renewable energy and holding polluters accountable or continuing to burn coal, drill for oil, and drive up CO2 emissions.

Trump promised to “Drill, baby, drill!”

DeSantis wants to “unleash gas and oil exploration.”

Haley wants to let China lead the way on renewables.

This is a pivotal election and we cannot afford to get this wrong.

Will you click here to tell us today: Is climate change a top issue for you in 2024?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts,
