Dear Jewish People, my name is Chana Schoenfeld and I desperately need your help.
Two weeks ago, my husband Yehuda was roughly arrested and taken to jail for tax fraud. We didn’t understand, he has never done anything illegal, he would never do such a thing. Then we learned that his identity had been stolen.That person ruined our lives, and there is nothing we can do about it.
We urgently need $200,000 to pay for lawyers and other legal fees, so that he can come home and be with our kids. Otherwise he could chas v’shalom be in prison for years. He is there surrounded by criminals, terrified for his life, wasting away. And I am home, overcome with terror that I will never see my husband again.
I am begging you to do the mitzvah of pidyon shvuyim and help us get the lawyers we need to free Yehuda. The lawyers say if we raise this money, it is possible to bring him home.
